Accessibility statement
We want Ruber to work for everyone, including people using a keyboard rather than a mouse, a screen reader, magnification, or a browser told to reduce motion. This says what we aim for, what is actually in place, what has not been tested, and how to tell us when we have got it wrong.

01What we aim for
We build against WCAG 2.2 at level AA. That is a target we work to, not a certificate we hold: this site has not been audited against it by anyone independent, and we do not claim conformance.
Saying so is deliberate. A statement that asserts a conformance level nobody has tested is worth less than no statement at all, because it discourages exactly the reports that would find the problems.
02What is in place
- Controls are reachable and operable by keyboard, and show a visible focus indicator when you get there.
- Controls that expand and collapse report their state to assistive technology, and a collapsed panel leaves the tab order rather than sitting in it invisibly.
- Decorative graphics — competitor marks, diagram ornaments, an icon beside a label that already says the same thing — are hidden from screen readers so nothing is announced twice.
- Motion follows the operating system's reduce-motion setting across the whole site. Animations and transitions are reduced to nothing rather than merely shortened.
- Text is text rather than pictures of text, so it reflows when the page is zoomed or the window is narrow.
03What we have not done
There has been no independent accessibility audit and no formal testing programme against assistive technologies. The security page names the same absence for the same reason: an untested claim is not a safeguard.
The dashboard has not been assessed to the same depth as this site. Where it is built from the same components the properties above hold; where it is not, we have not verified it.
04Telling us about a problem
Write to hello@ruber.me and say what you were trying to do, what got in the way, and what you were using — the browser, and any assistive technology. A person reads it; there is no ticket queue.
We will reply and say either that it is fixed or why it will not be soon. If something here is blocking you from doing a thing you are paying for, tell us and we will get it done for you another way in the meantime.
